Dear Fellow Canadians:
Please take time to tune into The Allison Inquiry* which exposes a sampling of injuries suffered by tens of thousands of Canadians over the past six years. The witnesses are citizens and residents of Canada whose provincial governments & elected local representatives, whether Liberal, Conservative, NDP, etc., mandated, pushed, and promised “safe and effective” in sync with the Feds and the Meds when many knew they were neither safe nor effective. And it wasn’t just elected officials, but NGOs of all stripes: business, sports, culture, education, etc., etc., that took up the cudgel of coercion with gusto.
Let us wake-up to how easily those in power (and those who are naïve about power) can be seduced or coerced into compromising their integrity and intellect; and how quickly those who refuse such seduction or coercion can be castigated and cast aside despite years of noble service to mankind. Many tragic examples of seduction, coercion, and casting aside were disclosed in the 4 days of The Allison Inquiry.
Because this whole scenario is just one more déjà vu in the multi-millennial déjà vus of power-plays and power-abuse, is it not our human duty to wake-up and resist? If this is never to happen again, we must.
God help us.
